DACHSER showcases services at the transport logistic China 2008

For the 3rd time, Dachser, is participating in the transport logistic China fair in Shanghai, the international exhibition for transport, logistics and telematics in Asia. From June 17 to 19, 2008 Dachser is showcasing its services.

At the booth a Dachser service team consisting of colleagues from all over the region invite the visitors to get more information about the company’s global network providing genuine market proximity, country-specific know-how and optimum on-the-spot services.

Besides Dachser’s core transportation services provided by air and sea, “Dachser Air & Sea Logistics”, the company is focusing on “Dachser Contract Logistics”, a service which provides a total integration of all logistics functions that gives customers the flexibility to tailor-make solutions. By setting up the first “MIKADO” run warehouse in Shanghai the same high quality warehousing services are offered to customers as the well-known services enabled through the in-house developed Warehouse Management System “MIKADO” in Europe.

On June 18, 10 am the company will hold a press conference at the fairground. Edoardo Podestá, Regional Managing Director of Dachser Far East Ltd., and Thomas Reuter, Global Managing Director of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics Division, will give more information on the recent investments and future plans for China and answer media questions.

As a special speaker, Bernhard Simon will attend the press conference and give a presentation of the company values and background. Mr. Simon is the Chairman of DACHSER and a grandson of the company’s founder Thomas Dachser.
